Just got a new laptop, HP brand running Windows 10.
It refuses to download books as epubs and instead downloads them as Edge shortcuts. Yet the file extension is still epub. When I try and read the book on my non kindle tablet using the kindle app 3/4 of the book is missing and is full of typos. In addition, it shuts down my tablets completely.
One final issue, it has arbitrarily changed ALL my ebook files that I have saved on my attached portable HD to those edge
