Maddie is reluctant to deliver the sweet treats because when she was there as a child, she got the fright of her life. But she plucks up the courage to go when her friends and family offer to join her. Then things get complicated when a ferocious storm hits and they get stranded at the house.
The place is frightening enough as it is, but it gets a whole lot scarier when a real dead body is found. But this isn’t the first person to die there. With no help able to get to them and being stranded with the murderer, Maddie and her sleuthing sidekicks do their best to ignore some spooky happenings and try to find the killer. They uncover a web of lies and secrets they need to untangle in order to get to the truth.
