2. Dog Eat Dog - The dog days of summer…
Can be murder.
Thrifting reseller and amateur sleuth, Macy Garson, has her hands full with finding items to sell in her online store and volunteering at the Happy Paws animal shelter.
While she’s still lonely after the loss of her beloved husband, Macy is trying her best to make friends and fit in with the locals in the small Florida town that is now her home, but so far, aside from her animal shelter buddies, she’s not having much luck.
Life is becoming more routine as she figures out how to exist as a new widow, but it gets turned upside down when she makes a horrifying discovery while walking one of the shelter dogs.
Local law enforcement seems to be gunning for Macy, a newcomer, and she finds herself in a sticky situation. In order to clear her name and save her already shaky reputation, Macy is forced to investigate a murder.
Will her eye for a specific type of detail give her the advantage that will rescue her standing in town?

3. Paws for Cause - Sometimes when you’re safely afloat…
Someone pulls the plug.
Garage sale reseller and reluctant amateur sleuth, Macy Garson, is up to her elbows in bath water. The Happy Paws shelter where she volunteers is in desperate need of funds and they’re conducting a dog washing fundraiser.
When a pipe bursts in her bathroom, flooding most of the house, Macy has to get creative in order to figure out how to pay for the damage. And, as if her flood of bad luck isn’t enough, her coworker’s neighbor goes missing, under some very mysterious circumstances.
Fighting for the financial survival of both her house and the shelter, Macy has to make room to investigate when the police look at her coworker, Polly, as a suspect.
Feeling as though she’s being bombarded from every direction, Macy is determined to do whatever it takes to save the shelter, restore her home, and save Polly from taking the fall for something that she didn’t do.
Can she crack the case, or will she drown in tasks and trouble?

4. Bone to Pick - When life goes to the dogs…
Macy has a bone to pick.
Garage sale reseller and amateur sleuth, Macy Garson, has had a rough patch. When her late husband’s classic truck breaks down, she seriously wonders if she can survive without him.
A feud with her next-door neighbor over a misunderstanding grows even frostier when he invites her to a barbeque, and she politely declines.
Just when Macy thinks that things can’t get much worse, a body is discovered near the pond behind Happy Paws, the dog shelter where she volunteers.
Police eye all of the shelter employees as possible suspects, but their focus turns to Buzz, the shelter’s irascible maintenance man, when it’s discovered that he has ties to the victim.
Can Macy run her business, deal with all of her own drama, and solve the case in time to exonerate the mysterious man whom none of the shelter volunteers know very well?

5. Sell, Bark, Repeat - The quest for knowledge…
Can be murder.
When garage sale reseller and amateur sleuth, Macy Garson, is invited to a national reseller convention, she’s more than a bit intimidated by the level of success that most of the attendees have attained.
Determined to learn as much as she can, she meets an eccentric older woman who gives her the inside scoop on how to grow her cute little shop, and Macy is finally able to relax a bit.
That is, until a body is found.
Murder is afoot, and while the convention attendees know how to sell, Macy is the only one who knows how to track down a killer. Frustrated by the distraction, she knows that the convention will only continue if the murder is solved, which doesn’t give her much time at all.
Can she catch a killer in time for the show to go on?

6. Perps on Parade - Sometimes big money…
Brings big trouble.
When garage sale reseller, dog shelter volunteer, and amateur sleuth, Macy Garson, comes back from a reseller conference in Reno with a Rising Star Award, she’s brimming with ideas to grow her business.
She has the inventory, she has the know-how, but her reality is that she just can’t do it all herself, so she starts looking for an assistant.
Consumed with her business, Macy still makes time to help plan a pet parade to raise funds and secure adoptions for the dogs at Happy Paws. When a Junkyard Dog client ropes Macy into investigating the all too convenient death of her friend, Macy is glad that she hired an assistant when she did. Particularly an assistant who loves murder mysteries.
Focused on her business but determined to get to the bottom of the case, Macy isn’t prepared for a persistent mechanic who is more interested in Macy than in her truck, and two very special cases of canines that she needs to rehabilitate for adoption.
Plagued by guilt, Macy tries her best to be everywhere at once and finds herself overwhelmed.
Can she crack the case and deliver the donor?

7. Sit, Stay, Stalk - Sometimes in exploring others…
We find ourselves.
Garage sale reseller and amateur sleuth, Macy Garson, is determined to grow her already thriving business even more, now that she has an assistant to help out. But she soon discovers that she needs to grow in other areas of her life as well.
A chance encounter with a man in the grocery store changes her perspective and clues her in to things about her assistant’s past that she didn’t know.
Macy is faced with a dilemma. Should she dig further into something that has seared her assistant’s heart, taking a chance that the young woman might never speak to her again, or should she walk away from an unsolved murder, allowing a killer to run free?

8. Fools Ruff In - Sometimes social media…
Can be a social menace.
When garage sale reseller and amateur sleuth, Macy Garson, gets a request for a refund from a very high profile, and very difficult customer, she’s frustrated, but glad that she’ll be getting an extremely unique vintage necklace back.
The only problem? The customer doesn’t return the piece after she receives her refund.
Hopping mad, Macy goes to the woman’s house to collect the necklace, only to be turned away by a hostile husband. But that’s only the beginning of her troubles…
When the customer is found murdered, Macy is considered a primary suspect.
She and her canny assistant, Q, partner with a member of the customer’s personal staff to find the real killer.
Can they do it before Macy’s business is destroyed and she’s put behind bars?
