Does this app work on my Sony Bravia X95L Android TV?

The v7 version will work fine on your new Sony TV, but if you install the version from Google Play store, that works too.

If you are using someone elses Plex server where they add you to it (eg. friend/relative), would this modded version be safer to use than the one on Google Play? The adverts removed, assuming they are just if you want to play something from Plex itself, but the other things blocked, does that make the modded one safer for playback? Thanks

How come with v10.13.466, I`m always getting the error message, "unable to play media."whenever I`m on data? But while I`m connected to Wi-Fi within the same network, I`m able to access it from the app. FYI, on the website app.plex.tv, I have the option remote access enabled. The same issue also happens with v10.12 from here and with the stock play store version..

I'm using this on a Sony TV with Google TV. It doesn't seem to be unlocked. When I go to some of the options in Settings, they don't open (in order to change that setting). Do I need to sign in and create an account for it to work? I downloaded the arm7 version.

Are you also using it on an android Tv? I can also not change the settings on my sony tv.
